A dining car is a mobile store with cooking facilities in the form of a car. In the second half of the 1950s, it was approved by the US Army and started operations at the military base. Later it was developed to operate mainly at the construction site, factories, and companies. The dining car provides a cheap and fast diet for busy people, and it is popular with the public.
After the food truck was legalized in South Korea in 2014 and entered the market in South Korea, 184 dining carts were registered two years later (2016), showing a sharp increase. The reason for the increase in the dining car is that the dining car is cheaper than the rental store and can move to anywhere you want to go.
